Vitol the world’s largest trader of coal appointed DWA to review the operations of Matola Coal Terminal in Mozambique. The proposals developed were intended to increase throughput to 12 mtpa with the minimum of capital expenditure. Further work was undertaken on the development of proposals for a new terminal adjacent to the existing terminal intended to increase overall capacity to in the order of 40 mtpa. The work was undertaken as part of a sale and purchase process for the terminal.
